About Christina's Compassionate Care
Welcome to Christina's Compassionate Care, where we offer more than just non-medical care coordination. We provide a guiding hand and a listening ear, transforming the chaos of care into clarity and peace of mind for families in Green Bay and the surrounding areas.

My Journey Began With A Personal Experience...
Personal Experience Became My Purpose
I’m Christina Herman, the owner and non-medical care coordinator behind Christina’s Compassionate Care.
Right now, I’m a one-woman business, which means when you call, email, or meet with Christina’s Compassionate Care, you’re working directly with me.
For nearly 15 years, I’ve worked in long-term care. I’ve spent years helping older adults, individuals living with dementia, and families navigating some of the hardest years of their lives.
For a long time, I thought that experience meant I understood caregiving.
Then caregiving became personal.
When someone I loved needed more care, I learned very quickly that there is a tremendous difference between understanding the system professionally and trying to navigate it when it’s your own family.
When you’re standing in the middle of it—worried, exhausted, emotionally involved, and trying to make the right decisions—even things that seem simple can suddenly feel overwhelming.
Who are we supposed to call?
What help is actually available?
What questions should we be asking?
What paperwork matters?
What should we prepare for?
And what happens next?
I knew many of the systems, resources, and terminology, and even I found myself overwhelmed at times.
That stayed with me.
Because I started thinking about the families who don’t have years of experience working in long-term care.
The daughter trying to figure everything out after a hospital stay.
The husband caring for his wife at home and wondering how much longer he can manage alone.
The family suddenly hearing words like rehabilitation, home health, palliative care, hospice, Medicaid, assisted living, or long-term care—and having absolutely no idea where to begin.
That is a big part of why Christina’s Compassionate Care was created.
My role is not to replace doctors, nurses, social workers, attorneys, financial professionals, or the many wonderful community organizations already available to families.
My role is to help families make sense of everything around the care.
I help families organize information, understand their options, locate resources, prepare questions, think through safety concerns, plan for transitions, communicate more effectively, and break an overwhelming situation into manageable next steps.
Sometimes families need help figuring out where to start.
Sometimes they need someone to sit beside them and sort through everything that has already started.
And sometimes they simply need someone who understands the caregiving world well enough to say, “Okay. Here’s what we know. Here’s what we still need to figure out. And here’s the next step.”
That is the kind of support I want Christina’s Compassionate Care to provide.
As this business grows, I hope to eventually expand and help even more families. But I never want growth to take away the part of this business that matters most to me—the personal connection.
Families deserve to feel heard.
They deserve explanations they can actually understand.
They deserve practical support without judgment.
And they deserve to know that asking for help does not mean they have failed.
Caregiving can be complicated, emotional, exhausting, and unpredictable.
I can’t make every part of caregiving easy.
But I can help make it less confusing, less overwhelming, and a little more manageable—one step at a time.
Christina’s Compassionate Care
Clarity in the Chaos of Care

Non-Medical Care Coordination that feels Truly Personal...
What makes our non-medical care coordination different? It’s personal. Every family’s situation is unique, so my support is never one-size-fits-all. I take the time to understand the whole picture, help families sort through their options, connect them with trusted community resources, prepare for transitions, and stay connected as needs change.
You’re not just given information—you have someone beside you, helping turn that information into a plan that works for your family. This personal touch is what separates Christina’s Compassionate Care from simply calling an agency or searching for resources online.

Feel Heard, Informed, And Supported
I want every family I work with to feel heard, informed, and supported. My goal is to help replace some of the overwhelm with clarity—to help you understand your options, find your next step, and know you don’t have to navigate the journey alone.
For instance, one family I supported felt overwhelmed by changing care needs and simply didn’t know what to do next. I helped them slow down, look at the whole picture, identify available resources, and understand their options. Together, we turned a long list of worries into manageable next steps.
Sometimes peace of mind doesn’t come from having every answer—it comes from knowing where to start and having someone beside you along the way.
"Christina was a lifesaver for our family. She helped us navigate a really difficult time with such compassion and expertise. We finally felt like we had a clear path forward."
A grateful family from Green Bay
